CBGB Invitation

CBGB, otherwise known as Country BlueGrass Blues was a popular venue from the 70s that hosted artists such as The Ramones, Patti Smith, Misfits, and Blondie. The CBGB invitation was a project that required a physical mock-up of an invitation letter and a carrier. The carrier could be any form as long as it made sense. The packaging utilizes a poster as the envelope to a ticket-like invitation to mimic concert gig posters. The outside container represents a casette tape to visualize its era more accurately. The poster illustration itself is based off of New York's architecture and the venue itself. The project encompasses a bright punk style.
